LIC Landing is one of those places that makes you feel like you cracked the code on New York. It sits right on the waterfront in Long Island City with the entire Manhattan skyline stretched out in front of you โ and somehow, nobody from out of town knows it exists. The vibes lean chill beer garden: picnic tables, string lights, food vendors rotating through.
Come at sunset and grab a spot near the railing. The light hitting Midtown from across the East River is genuinely unreal. On weekends there's usually live music or a DJ, but it never gets obnoxious. This is where Queens locals go when they want skyline views without the Times Square energy.
What locals are saying
“Best free view in the city. Took my girlfriend here, she loved it.”
— Carlos, Queens
“Go on a Wednesday around 6pm. Half the crowd, same sunset.”
— Priya, Astoria
